Deepen pedagogical practices the approach of Natural Sciences and History in Pre-School Education Develop a critical spirit Promote the exercise of a globalising practice in the initial training of children Combine research, knowledge, pedagogical potentials and playfull features of experimental methods. Propose activities from children's lives daily situations Promote an interdisciplinary approach in Knowlegde of the World Built adequate activities to chidlren's age group and able to promote the Knowledge of the World in those groups

1. teaching Strategies in Knowledge of the World 2. Experimental Sciences in pre-School Education 3. Experimental teaching of Sciences in Childhood. construction and analysis of activities 4. History in pre-school contexts - concepts and methodologies 5. The building of time and space notions in Pre-School Education

Teaching methodologies (including evalution)

Analysis of scientific papers as a theoretical basis for debates around different approaches in Physical and Natural Sciences and History in pre-School Education. On a practical level students are invited to conduct strutured activities for children in Pre-School Education, in an interdisciplinary perspective. Students ara evaluated individually for their participation in the classroom (25%) and for the making and presentation of na interdisciplinary group work (75%).
