-Act according to the ideals and values of the institution and effectively collaborating in institutional dynamics
-Organize the learning environment and act according to the context and children specificities
-Intervene according to active learning principles
-Plan intervention in integrated and flexible ways, responding to needs, interests and specific characteristics of each child
-Use techniques, observation instruments, registration, documentation and evaluation of activities, context and processes of children development and learning
-Act according to the quality of the educational environment, creating an atmosphere of well-being and ensuring continuity of care and educate processes
-Reflect in order to adjust and redesign the educational action
-Use intervention strategies according to the characteristics of the families
-Mobilize research methodologies in order to change or improve the contexts and educational practice
- Legal normative about nursery contexts
- Observation of context, children and educational dynamics
- Complementarity of care and education roles
- Organization of a quality educational environment
- Planning, implementation and evaluation of educational intervention
- Projects, experiments and activities development

Teaching methodologies (including evalution)During intership the student acts according to the institution and ESEPF guidelines. Seminars will address topics through theoretical presentations and analysis of situations. During tutorships experiences are shared, debates and reflections on the intervention are conducted as well as tutorial orientation for the final report.
Assessment methods and their weighting:
Final grade =(internship*60+written report+40)/100 where:
Internship=(grade from ESEPF teacher*60+practice supervisor*40)/100
Supervised learning Practice (PES) is held in nursery contexts
Research report-under the scientific guidance of a doctor and/or a specialist, continuing the investigative process inicied in PES I and II. The report will be subject of a public defense act.
