Learning objectives
1. To know the different dimensions involved in a research question;
2. To master the several methodological options of research/intervention according to the object of study and the subjects participating in the research;
3. To know the inherent processes to the construction of information retrieval instruments;
4. To understand the importance and necessity of a rigorous analysis of the data;
5. To know the inherent procedures to the elaboration of a pre-project of research/intervention.

Teaching methodologies (including evalution)
The programmatic contents will be worked with the students using the explanatory method; the analysis of documents and several researches, guided according to the particular object of study chosen in the scope of the pre-project, and according to the research methods and techniques to be used; individual work; analysis and discussion of research problems.
Evaluation methods and respective ponderation: Research/intervention pre-project (100%). The students will work on their research/intervention pre-project on the course of the semester and will maintain a permanent dialogue with the professor.Essential Bibliography (including ISBN)
