Learning objectives
Signal the main aims and goals f the teaching of History, Geography, and Physical & Natural Sciences Apply the knowledge over the several strategies and didactical resources Recognize and adapt the aforementioned Science´s approach methodologies when studying the environment Using the know-how of the current world, be it in the country or in the city, to percept these same spaces Observe, log and interpret the several social phenomena, the different elements and factors that contribute to the study of the human and natural space Create fieldwork as a process to investigate and identify the several living experiences in the geographical space Identify day-to-day situations that highlight the relevance of scientific literacy Recognize the importance of knowledge, motivation, observation, questioning, and critical thought in the experimental method Use the scientific knowledge, recognize scientific questions, and draw conclusions taken upon evidences

History: From History as a science to the teaching of History in Basic Education The formative dimension of History. Geography: Aspects of human Geography The evolution of the several sectors of the activity throughout the times Demographic analysis and the reasons behind the changes in the family structure Physical & Natural Sciences: Scientific Literacy - Processes, contents and contexts The experimental teaching of sciences Scientific activities of exploration and investigation

Used strategies and resources: Presentation Debate Document analysis Group-work Practical cases Description: The theoretical classes prepare the students for documental analysis, observation of the realities of History, Geography and Physical & Natural Sciences as well as for the preparation for the evaluation documents. The debate, documental analysis and the study of practical cases, as well as the sharing of experiences within the group will enable a systemic vision of realities. Evaluation forms and correspondent reflection: A unique work on a Portuguese figure regarding the historical, geographic and scientific framework (40% individual evaluation in the presentation of the work and 60% of the evaluation of the group of interdisciplinary research work).
