Learning objectives
Apply the correct vocabulary in the oral and written description of the geometric situations and/or of exploiting measurement Distinguish primitive notions , derivative notions, axioms and theorems Identify bi-dimensional shapes Characterize correctly bi-dimensional shapes Represent strict and correctly simple shapes Apply techniques proper to the measurement of symbols of flat shapes Produce geometric transformations on flat shapes Identify tridimensional forms Characterize properly the tridimensional forms Describe relation among the elements of tridimensional objects Use appropriate tools to determine the extent of measurements Develop logic topics in the resolution of problems of geometric nature

Teaching methodologies (including evalution)

Strategies and used resources: Explanation Individual Work Team work Problems Description: In the theoretic classes the syllabus will be explained, further applied, debated and systematized in theoretic-practical classes, mingling moments of individual work with moments of group work, aiming at solving problematic situations tending to the understanding and integration of concepts, procedures and arguments in geometry and measurement Forms of evaluation and due deliberation: 2 written individual tests (50% +50%) Description: The evaluation of the knowledge on the developed activities_ concepts level, representation, procedures and arguments-development of learning done during the curricular unit- will be based in the acquisition of competences showed by each student in written individual tests.
