Learning objectives
-Promote the relationship between art, school and cultural institutions, assuming the culture as a need in the educational process -Sensitize the students to the role of Art in the formation of children and their relationship with other areas of knowledge - Stimulate the knowledge of Cultural and Artistic Heritage as process of affirmation of citizenship and a means of developing aesthetic sensibility - Stimulate the knowledge about the creative and artistic processes as a means of developing cultural literacy - Encourage the design and production of original and innovative artistic practices in education - Practice and develop artistic and creative abilities considering the current artistic discourse in formal and non-formal educational settings - Encourage the aesthetic dimension of Education through the ownership of various forms of art

Teaching methodologies (including evalution)

The classes are primarily theoretical practices where uses a combination of active method and expositive, using various strategies including: exposure to content, discussions, viewing and discussion of work on artistic education, movie/documentary about artists and their creative processes. In the practical classes will be performed a work of experimentation on the creative process. This UC also includes seminars for which the students may have access to artists /educators/art critics/ experts invited to report their experience both in the context of artistic education, either in the context of arts. Evaluation: students will prepare a theoretical-practical work in group, describing the experience related to the creative process (100 %).
