Motion development: Dance in Education/Historical development of dance/Educational importance of dancing/Developed values through dance/Teaching of folk dance/Methodology and orientation applied to dancing/Practical approach to different types of dancing Musical development: Music and in artistic dimension/Artistic education as means of educational influence/Practical contents application of musical artistic education/Creating and applying games to musical activities/ Plastic development: Art and esthetics/The importance of Arts in modern history/Interpretation and understanding of Art Work/The plastic expression in Education/Goals and aims of Artistic Education/Principles of childish graphic representation Dramatic development: Importance of the theatre in history of Humankind/Concepts and Terminologies/Principles, goals , specific points/Competences when creating performance/Production and artistic creation/Principles and elements of artistic creation

Teaching methodologies (including evalution)

Exposition Debate Documents analysis Group work Practical cases This unit is divided in four artistic areas being the final evaluation the result of the arithmetic simple media of different evaluations Plastic: It results from the appreciation of a theory-practical group work (60%) and from the oral defense of the same (40%). Musical: A group theory-practical work (100%) Moving: Appreciating a theory-practical work done in group (10%) and consequent practical presentation (90%) Dramatical: Individual portfolio accompanying the classes, with research on suggested subjects (50%) and a theory-practical group work (50%) The works done in each artistic area have as basis a proposal of intervention which starting from diversified subjects aim at making the students understand the importance of artistic expressions in the educational system suiting the different artistic areas in the teaching activity to the characteristics of each of the areas, exploring their potentialities
