Recognizes the value of theater as art Recognizes the role of theater in various socio-educational contexts Identifies trends and artistic and cultural movements throughout the theater of human history Identifies and understands the theatrical art in the contemporary context Formula critical judgments about the phenomenon of theatrical performance Conceptually and formally analyze the performance and the performative act Identifies the main purposes of theater and dramatic expression in education Monetizes the theatrical artistic resources to enable a contact with the art world that opens up new prospects for integration and interpretation of reality and in Characterizes and identifies various manifestations Artist in its historical context and socio-cultural Understands the importance of artistic expression in the educational process Identifies the different artistic fields and frames them in the teaching profession

The Theatre Art and History The importance of theater in the history of the Humanity Interpretation and understanding of theatrical art: concepts and terminologies Theatrical genres Theatre and Drama Principles and purposes of theater and Drama in Arts Education (a historical sketch of Drama in Education, Chancerel León and others) The specific skills Paths for performing the construction Production and artistic creation General principles for creating the representation The dramatic elements of communication, forms and characteristics The constituent plastics-dramatic elements of the show and representation The preparation of a practical exercise with public presentation Puppet Theatre and Mask

Teaching methodologies (including evalution)

Active methodology that uses among others, debates, exhibitions, work group and individual. Theoretical practical classes which uses a combination of active and expository method using various strategies including:. Group work, visits to exhibitions, theater trips, debates, analysis of works of art, performances, viewing and discussion of films and documentaries, audio-visual material. The assessment of this course is ongoing and results of arithmetic weighting of individual and group practical work 70% individual dossier accompanying classes and research 30%.
