Learning objectives
Understanding the artistic culture in contemporary society in its diversity and constant change;
Know some of the main creators, artistic works and current creative processes;
Know different artistic languages as a way to sensitize students to the contemporary cultural diversity;
Promote the relationship of artistic culture with the School, taking culture as a necessity in the educational process;
Stimulate cultural knowledge and artistic as citizenship affirmation process and a means to develop aesthetic sensibildade;
Understanding the educational interests, the consequences and objectives of the integration of contemporary artistic culture in the 1st cycle of basic education.
Syllabus
1. Contemporary artistic culture
1.1 The place of artistic culture in the development of citizenship.
1.2 The importance of artistic practices in contemporary society.
1.3 current artistic manifestations: creators, artistic works and creative processes.
2. The artistic culture in the current education
1.1 The importance of artistic culture in the integral formation of the individual.
1.2 The contemporary creative and artistic processes as a means to develop cultural literacy.
1.3 The contemporary artistic culture in the educational practice of the 1st cycle of basic education.
Teaching methodologies (including evalution)
The classes are essentially theoretical practices which uses a combination of active and expository method, using various strategies including: content exhibition, debates, viewing and discussion of works on contemporary artistic culture, film / documentary about artists and their creative processes and even educational projects involving current artistic practices. In practical classes will be a work that articulates the contemporary artistic culture and educational practices. This work will be targeted guidance and feedback from the teacher in the tutorial hours.
Rating: will be prepared by the students a theoretical and practical group work articulates the contemporary artistic culture and educational practices whose weighting is 100%.Essential Bibliography (including ISBN)
