To understand the local dynamics of space and memory; To improve knowledge, conceptual and operational frameworks essential to a dynamic and critical learning. To develop research methodologies of History and Geography of Portugal, at a local level

Teaching methodologies (including evalution)

In theoretical classes, students will master conceptual and theoretical frameworks of local dynamics, essential to develop autonomous thinking. Theoretical-practice classes will focus on documents analysis and the use of Geographic Information Technologies in order to promote the problematization and to develop critical and reflective skills in the future teachers. The practical research work, developed individually promotes the creation of knowledge and the application of appropriate research methodologies. Evaluation: Individual work - 70% Oral presentation - 30%
