Learning objectives
1.Know the basic theoretical frameworks of literature, as well as conceptual approaches on the literary text, highlighting this aspects and dimensions to the child in Basic School (1st and 2nd cycles); 2.Reflect on the literature foundations, in a perspective of articulation between the literary text and its intercultural dimension; 3.Reflect of importance of obtained knowledge in transformative pedagogical practices promotion, on the social and cultural representations established in the literary text; 4.Analyze and understand models, concepts, theoretical perspectives, contextual factors and educational responses in Intercultural education framework; 5.Know intercultural models approach applied to literature in order to understand the socio-cultural representations; 6.Know social intervention projects, mediated by literature and implemented in Europe.

Syllabus
I. Literature: 1.1. Concepts and 1.2. Text, context and interpretation 1.3. literature: spaces of subjectivity 1.4. The character: psychological, ethical and social dimensions 1.5. Literature, identities and sublimation: the concept of empathy 1.6. Social representations analysis of in literary text 1.7. The literary genres and their possibilities of articulation with the Intercultural education 1.8. The journal- from the individual to the universal II. Interculturality: 2.1. Concepts and scientific basis 2.2. Interculturality in the European context (theoretical perspectives, concepts, challenges and educational responses); 2.3. Intercultural education problems (fundamental concepts-altherity, culture, intercultural dialogue, diversity, identity, critical cultural awareness, critical intercultural pedagogy, critical hiperpedagogy;) III. The project experience: living and working with Anne Frank 3.1. Reading circles 3.2. The Anne Frank Diary exhibition.

Teaching methodologies (including evalution)

This Cu is organized in lessons T, TP, OT and PL, based in active methodologies. Contact T lessons are aimed at the creation of the conceptual framework guiding the analyse of activities and resources preparation for the dialogue promotion between literature and interculturality. Theoretical-practical lessons will correspond to teachers and students moments of oral exposure, based on the presentation and refletion on selected texts. In Practical laboratory sessions it will be analyse the planning of activities oh social and cultural projects organized in didactic sequences. The students work will have, as a reference,objectives and learning outcomes achieved and verified through the following evaluation forms and correspondent consideration: 1 individual work (60%) and 1 group work (40 %).
